How to Acquire the Helicopter Pilot License Flight Training at Reasonable Rates and Duration

Many young people have dreams of becoming pilots and flying in their mature lives. Adults too enjoy flying because it is fun. To fly, you must undergo helicopter flight training at an approved helicopter flight training school so that you can be granted the Helicopter pilot license flight training. The license for flying helicopters is basically granted at three levels: private, commercial and advanced.

The private pilot license is for people who want to buy their own helicopters and want to fly them themselves. This license allows you to fly workmates, family, friends and yourself. With this license, you cannot fly commercial helicopters to be paid wages. You should be aged 18 years or above to be granted a private pilot license. You must also pass the class examinations and the flight test and all the necessary medical tests.

A commercial pilot license is for those who want to fly helicopters for commercial purposes. You must be experienced and qualified to be allowed to train as a commercial helicopter flyer. You must be over 18 years of age, have attended basic helicopter flight training (and passed) and you must pass the category one medical test. You have to pass the helicopter flight courses and tests and you must have flown a helicopter for a required amount of hours.

The advanced helicopter pilot license is for those who want to advance and become experts in flying as well as training. Most aviation training schools require you to be at least 23 years old to enroll in this course. Holders of this license can be employed by government departments such as the military, hospitals and police. Those who hold this class of license can be allowed to fly during bad weather.

The fees and duration of training may vary from state to state and you should seek information from the aviation training authorities in your country for the current fee rates and duration of training.
