Home Made Helicopters

It is true that most of the helicopters used in the majority of countries are not home made. This means that the government of a country or even an individual usually purchases the helicopter from those countries who are experts in the making of helicopters. The technology of manufacturing helicopters mainly lies in the East where Russia has various specialists in helicopter manufacturing. Only developed countries can be in a position to make aircraft simply because they have both the knowhow and the resources for the same. Developing or third world countries cannot have their own home manufactured helicopters due to lack of the required knowledge and thus they rely on imported helicopters.

Many countries have justified the fact that they can invent their own helicopters but all in vain. In Kenya, one of the University students invented an airplane, a helicopter type which could fly but it could not follow a specific direction or rather campus direction. This was a really commendable attempt and it showed potential in the participation of the home made helicopter market. Helicopters are special aircraft that are quite different and generally more complicated than the other civilian aircraft. They are required to have a very strong engine because most helicopters are made to be used by the military particularly for tough and demanding activities.

To engage in the homemade helicopter market and raise the output of your country, one is required first to become familiarised with the helicopters already available, using the knowledge acquired from these already existent helicopters, one can try to motivate other entities to join them in designing the helicopter and thus through effort, one can come up with a functioning helicopter that can be able to fly without losing direction. This can show great intelligence and prove that any country can create a homemade helicopter.
