What Is An Airborne Gravity Gradiometer Helicopter And How Does It Operate?
The Airborne Gravity Gradiometer Helicopter is made for those who harbor the interest of controlling vehicles and other toys with remote appliances. This is a helicopter which can be controlled by remote to move up, down, backwards, forwards and sideways. They are relatively expensive because of the high technology employed to ensure the safety of kids and other inexperienced individuals who may want to fly it for fun.
These helicopters have two channels of control. They are specially designed toys which even experienced pilots enjoy flying. They are however recommended for beginners and new recruits for aviation training, because they are very easy to fly. These helicopters have rotors which rotate in opposite directions and so a tail rotor is not needed.
The Airborne Gravity Gradiometer Helicopter mostly has three or four channels and can perform almost all the functions of a real helicopter. They are more stable than the helicopter types which have tails, but are easier to fly. Even though they are called toys, they are not really such and flying them should be taken as a serious activity because they can be destroyed and cause injuries and even death if they crash.
The helicopters with four channels of remote control are closer to real helicopters. Their rotors have an effect on the helicopter blades moving it upwards and downwards. They are easy to fly and are meant for intermediate trainers because it is just a step below the real flying.
The helicopters with six channel remote control are the most advanced forms of toy helicopters; and they can even do more than real helicopters do and can roll and fly in an inverted position. These are harder to fly and you will need some rigorous training to fly them. Most people who can fly these can also fly real helicopters.
